NeuroFlamma began with a real family member whose brain inflammation kept spreading on MRI while every clinical test came back normal, and the diagnosis stayed out of reach.
A tool to help clinicians see patterns and narrow the differential faster — when time and certainty are scarce.
Neuroinflammation of the brain and spinal cord — multiple sclerosis, NMOSD, MOGAD, autoimmune encephalitis, infections and their mimics — can be subtle, evolving, and easy to misread. The clues are often in the MRI: where lesions sit, how they're shaped, how they change. NeuroFlamma is built to read those patterns against documented international criteria and surface the next decisive test — always as support for the treating physician.
It has since grown from an MS-focused tool into a whole-neuraxis, multi-disease platform: dedicated, calibrated models now read MS lesions, brain tumour, acute stroke, spinal-cord lesions and atrophy — across the brain and the spinal cord — so the differential and its key mimics are covered in one pass. The mission is unchanged: help the clinician see, decide, and never replace them.
